The Memory Bowl is a hand-formed paper object created from real human love stories. Each piece is made using paper mache that incorporates a Modern Love essay from the New York Times—allowing the bowl to be not just a holder of memories, but a form built from them. These bowls are intentionally light, imperfect, and fragile. They reflect the human experience: tender, unfinished, and alive. Each Memory Bowl is both a sculptural object and a living ritual. It is meant to be displayed, noticed, and lived with.

Every bowl comes with a small collection of paper mache beads or river stones, inviting its owner to participate in its becoming. With each moment of connection—of any kind—one bead is placed inside.

This bowl is not meant to hold everything. Only what matters. Over time, it becomes heavier, steadier, more grounded. Not because it changes—but because we do.
